Route 66 Postcard Art​

This book showcases sixty-six images of my graphic interpretations of old Route 66 postcards from the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. I show the original postcard and then my artistically altered version of that same card. The postcards were chosen based on design and subject matter, which includes cars, gas stations, cafes, restaurants, motels, buildings, and the open road. The graphic tour starts in Chicago, Illinois, and ends in Hollywood, California. A sequential sightseeing trip through the eight states of the Route 66 of yesteryear.
